What is Surrogacy?
A process where a surrogate mother does a child for an individual or couple. While there are two types of surrogacy such as:
Traditional
Traditional Surrogacy, In this process, the surrogate mother’s egg is fertilized by the intended father’s sperm or donor sperm, making her the child’s biological mother. The surrogacy costs need to be borne by the biological parents.
Gestational
Gestational surrogacy involves a situation where a gestational mother carries a baby that is not genetically related to her. The embryo is created or developed using the eggs and sperm of a couple who are unable to conceive a baby.
